‘Limited Time Offer’ Competition Series Set At ABC From Eric Wattenberg & Gary Vaynerchuk’s VaynerWatt

Deadline · 1 day ago

ABC has greenlit "Limited Time Offer," a new unscripted competition series from VaynerWatt, the production company run by marketing entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk and former CAA agent Eric Wattenberg. The show pits ten pop-culture food enthusiasts against each other weekly to invent brand-funded products, with the winning creation going on sale to the public the day after broadcast, tapping into the viral trend of limited-time menu items such as Jimmy John's picklewich and Sweetgreen's Fishwife collaboration.

The series, set to air next year, is funded by fast food, casual dining and packaged goods brands and will feature two full-time judges plus a rotating guest judge each week. It was co-created by Vaynerchuk and Wattenberg, who also executive produce alongside Sam Brown, Tim Hackbardt and Nema Vand, marking VaynerWatt's first broadcast network commission after previous credits on History Channel, Tubi and Amazon projects. It follows a mixed history of brand-focused network shows, including NBC's cancelled "On Brand" and 2012's "Fashion Star," and joins ABC's expanding unscripted autumn slate alongside "Dancing with the Stars," "Shark Tank" and "Celebrity Wheel of Fortune."
