Linda Perhacs Found Safe Days After Being Reported Missing
Folk singer Linda Perhacs, 82, has been found safe after friends and collaborators publicly appealed for information about her whereabouts. Her former manager, Laurel Stearns, said police had confirmed her safety, ending a period of concern after those close to Perhacs were unable to contact her.
Perhacs is now reportedly in a new care facility, after having been discharged from a residential care home about eight months earlier while under her legal guardian’s supervision. Stearns said concern grew after months without contact; a missing-person report was filed in early June, while a public appeal involving musicians and collaborators helped draw wider attention to the case.
