Singer-songwriter Linda Perhacs has been found safe and in good health after friends and her manager publicly appealed for information about her whereabouts. The case drew concern because she had been out of contact for several months following her discharge from a long-term care facility, and information from authorities was limited to people with legal ties to her.

Manager Laurel Stearns reported Perhacs missing in early June, while friends and collaborators shared appeals on social media on 28 July. Perhacs’ Instagram account said she is now in a new care facility; Stearns thanked supporters and authorities, and asked the public to respect the artist’s privacy as those close to her decide what happens next.
