Lindsey Buckingham has renewed speculation of a possible 2027 project with Stevie Nicks, saying “quite a few things” may be revealed next year. The comment is significant because it follows their reported reconciliation after years of strained relations, and comes as the 50th anniversary of Fleetwood Mac’s landmark album ‘Rumours’ approaches.

Buckingham said he and Nicks are now in regular contact and described the forthcoming Fleetwood Mac documentary as a healing process for the group. Their renewed relationship followed the reissue of their 1973 album ‘Buckingham Nicks’; Buckingham had previously blamed Nicks for his 2018 dismissal from Fleetwood Mac, while Nicks denied demanding his removal and said she had stepped away from an environment she found harmful.
