‘Lioness’ Season 3 Opens With 7.1 Million Viewers in Three Days, Up From Season 2 (EXCLUSIVE)
“Lioness” returned strongly for its third season, with its premiere attracting 7.1 million viewers in its first seven days on streaming, according to Paramount’s internal data. The result exceeded the Season 2 debut and reinforces the continued audience appeal of Taylor Sheridan-produced series for Paramount+.
The Aug. 2 episode also performed well internationally on SkyShowtime in Europe, where it surpassed the opening performance of both earlier seasons and could become one of the platform’s five biggest returning premieres. Nielsen previously ranked Season 2 as the second-most-watched US streaming original during 2–8 August, while social-media tracking recorded 6.9 million views between 2 and 4 August.
