Explained simply
New Music Friday is a weekly guide to newly released songs and albums, helping listeners find music from established stars and newer artists. Releases can also offer an early look at projects that are still to come.
LISA is a South Korean singer who has also built a solo career alongside her work with the group BLACKPINK. Miley Cyrus, Kacey Musgraves and John Mayer are American singers and songwriters with different musical styles; Dominic Fike and Girl In Red are among the other artists featured in the guide.
The releases span solo work, recordings made earlier and music tied to a television series. They also include previews of forthcoming projects, so the guide gives listeners a snapshot of several artists’ plans as well as new music.
