LITA FORD On Her Upcoming Album ‘The Bride Wore Black’: ‘It’s Kind Of A PG-13 Sort Of Dark Fairy Tale’
Lita Ford has confirmed that her new album, *The Bride Wore Black*, is planned for release in early 2027 through Frontiers Music Srl. It will be her first studio album since 2012’s *Living Like A Runaway* and a concept record built around a dark fairy-tale theme.
Ford describes the stories as dark but roughly PG-13 in tone, with different characters playing specific roles. The album includes the released song “Dracula”, a duet with Doro Pesch called “The Queen Of Pain”, and a song with Jean Beauvoir, “Fairy Tale Of Doom”. Gary Hoey produced the record, with Max Norman handling the mix; Ford said further singles are planned for November and January, ahead of the album’s release.
