Liverpool agree £120m fee for Bradley Barcola after breakthrough talks with PSG

The Guardian · 3 hours ago

Liverpool have reached an outline agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for France winger Bradley Barcola in a deal potentially worth £120m. The move would strengthen Liverpool’s attack before Tuesday’s transfer deadline and could become the club’s second most expensive signing, although the deal’s final structure remains incomplete.

Liverpool would pay just over £100m up front, with a further £20m dependent on individual and team-related add-ons, after PSG lowered their initial £145m valuation. Barcola, 23, reportedly wants the move after losing prominence at PSG and declining to extend his contract, which has two years left; PSG bought him from Lyon for €45m in 2023 and have recently expanded their attacking options.

  • Liverpool near £120m Barcola deal with PSG
  • Deal includes over £100m guaranteed
  • Agreement remains unfinished before deadline
