Liverpool v Spurs & Man Utd v Brighton – full EFL Cup third-round draw
Liverpool will face Tottenham and Manchester United will play Brighton in the EFL Cup third round, as the Premier League clubs involved in European competition join the tournament. The draw also gives holders Manchester City a home tie against Norwich, while Fleetwood, the only League Two side remaining, will host Sheffield United.
Matches are scheduled across the weeks beginning 7 and 14 September to prevent clashes with the opening rounds of European competitions.
