Logitech has released the Yeti 2, a modernised sequel to its original Blue Yeti USB microphone, which debuted in 2009 and remains popular amongst podcasters and streamers. The updated model introduces several contemporary features designed to simplify setup and operation, including a 3D proximity sensor that automatically adjusts audio levels and directional patterns as the user moves, and AI-powered noise reduction to eliminate background sounds such as mouse clicks and keystrokes. These enhancements aim to make the microphone more accessible to users who prefer not to manually configure technical settings.

The Yeti 2 features a redesigned three-capsule array with 24-bit/48kHz recording capability, multiple directional modes, and a 1.3-inch LED display incorporating a Yeti mascot that provides visual feedback on gain and patterns. Additional features include a capacitive mute button, physical control dial, five stored presets and a headphone jack for monitoring. The microphone is available in black and white, priced at $160 through Logitech's website and retail partners. Users can customise the display mascot with alternative avatars via Logitech's G Hub software.
