Lonely The Brave have reunited with Dave Jakes, the band's original vocalist, and will play their first live shows with him since his departure in 2018. Jakes fronted the Cambridge band on its first two albums before health reasons forced him to step back, with Jack Bennett later taking over vocal duties for two further releases. The reformation brings the group's original line-up together for the first time in years, marking a significant moment for the band and its fans.

Two shows have been confirmed to mark the reunion, on 12 November in Cambridge at the Mash and 17 November in London at Bush Hall, with the band stating these are their only performances this year. Guitarist Mark Trotter described the reformation as an organic and unexpected development born out of friendship rather than any pre-planned decision, adding that further shows are likely in future. Tickets go on general sale from 24 July, with a pre-sale available to those who sign up to the band's mailing list.
