MGM+’s supernatural horror series From is gaining a wider streaming audience after initially attracting little attention on its debut. The programme follows people trapped in an inexplicable town, combining mystery, survival horror and escalating cliffhangers; its growing popularity matters because it has developed from a cult favourite into a more broadly discovered series.

Residents try to maintain ordinary lives while seeking an escape, but face deadly creatures from the surrounding forest after dark. The cast includes Harold Perrineau as Boyd Stevens, Catalina Sandino Moreno as Tabitha Matthews and Eion Bailey as Jim Matthews; the series was created by John Griffin and has executive producers with experience of Lost.
