Iris Rabaya Au, girlfriend of Love Island winner Davide Sanclimenti, has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for failing to declare over £1.95 million in income on her tax returns. The 37-year-old admitted to subscribing to a false tax return after receiving illicit funds linked to her former partner's cryptocurrency fraud scheme, making her complicit in concealing millions of pounds in fraud proceeds.

Au received the undeclared income between 2020 and 2023 from her then-boyfriend Adam Iza, a cryptocurrency fraudster, who ran a scheme involving shell companies and payments to corrupt Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies. Beyond her prison sentence, Au was ordered to pay £1 million in restitution and forced to surrender luxury assets including a Ferrari 488 Pista, Porsche 911, 14 Louis Vuitton handbags, and designer bags from Chanel, Prada, Hermes and Dior. Iza, still in custody, admitted to fraudulently accessing Facebook advertising accounts and used illicit funds totalling nearly £7.5 million to finance private security and obtain search warrants targeting his financial rivals.
