Lucien Laviscount and Taylour Paige will lead *Tyler Perry’s Confabulation*, a Netflix thriller written and directed by Perry. It follows a firefighter haunted by his past who tries to rescue his high-school sweetheart from her powerful husband, as events raise questions about what is real.

Shamier Anderson will also have a key role, alongside a supporting cast that includes Nadine Ellis and Peter Parros. Perry is producing with Angi Bones and Tony L. Strickland; the project is part of his creative partnership with Netflix, which has also released his film *Why Did I Get Married Again*.
