Lucy Dacus to Reissue Debut Album ‘No Burden,’ Shares Unreleased Song
Lucy Dacus is marking the 10th anniversary of her debut album, No Burden, with a special vinyl reissue and a previously unreleased track. The news gives fans a fresh look at the singer-songwriter's early catalogue while she continues promoting her latest work, tying together her past and present output during an active touring year.
The reissue arrives on 4 December on seaglass-coloured vinyl, with preorders already open, and includes established tracks such as "I Don't Wanna Be Funny Anymore" and "Strange Torpedo". Alongside it, Dacus has released the long-unheard song "No Thank You, I Love You, Goodbye", recorded with producer Adrian Olsen and guitarist Alan Good Parker, which has reportedly been a live favourite among fans for years. The announcement comes as Dacus wraps up a summer of touring, including festival slots at Outside Lands and Newport Folk Festival, ahead of a tribute performance with Cat Power at the Hollywood Bowl on 13 September; her most recent album, Forever Is a Feeling, came out in March.

Lucy Dacus is an American singer-songwriter, part of the "boygenius" trio alongside Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker, who first made her name with intimate, lyrically detailed indie rock. No Burden, released in 2016, was her debut solo album and introduced songs that have remained fan favourites, including "I Don't Wanna Be Funny Anymore".
