The decision came just days after a similar cancellation in Pennsylvania, highlighting the logistical and safety challenges of staging large outdoor concerts on farmland.

Fans have been advised to keep their tickets, although no replacement date has been announced. The Michigan event required around 30 acres to be cleared, along with space for vendors and parking for approximately 20,000 people, while the Pennsylvania cancellation also disappointed organisers who had involved the local community in extensive preparations.
