Mike Colter, known for his role as Luke Cage, is starring in a new CBS legal drama called Cupertino, which premieres on 8 October. Created by The Good Wife's Michelle and Robert King, the show follows lawyer Michael Price (Colter), who has been wrongfully ousted from a tech start-up, as he teams up with fellow attorney Olivia Siffre (Rachel Keller) to form a law firm that challenges Silicon Valley's tech giants. The partnership reunites Colter with the Kings after his acclaimed run on their previous series Evil.

The second episode, "Vik & Bo," introduces key characters including Vik Malhotra, a coder played by Nik Dodani who becomes the firm's first major client after being wrongfully implicated in a drone incident. The fledgling firm operates from a makeshift office in an empty building and gains crucial financial backing from Natalia Boutella (Busy Philipps), a spurned ex-wife of a tech billionaire, whilst also taking on a potential whistleblower client. Guest stars including Rob McClure and Evan Handler will also appear in the episode.
