Lydia Peckham Set For ‘The Legend Of Zelda’
New Zealand actress Lydia Peckham has joined the cast of Nintendo and Sony’s live-action The Legend of Zelda film, reuniting with director Wes Ball after Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. Her role has not been disclosed, reflecting the closely guarded nature of the production, which has already completed filming and is due in cinemas in 2027.
Benjamin Evan Ainsworth will play Link opposite Bo Bragason as Princess Zelda, while Uli Latukefu is reported to portray Ganondorf and Dichen Lachman is said to play Impa. Sam Neill, Yvonne Strahovski and others are also involved, with Strahovski reportedly playing a queen; the franchise has sold more than 150 million units since 1986.
