M83 unveils I Wrote You a Letter, new album due September

French musician Anthony Gonzalez's project M83 has announced a new studio album, *I Wrote You a Letter*, set for release on 25 September via his own label, Other Suns. It follows 2023's *Fantasy* and marks Gonzalez's next full-length record since that release, alongside a soundtrack he produced for the sci-fi art film *Resurrection*.
The nine-track album was made with collaborators Joe Berry, Clément Libes and Villeneuve, according to a post from Gonzalez on Instagram, in which he promised further details would follow. The tracklist includes songs such as "Blister Sunrise", "Opera", "Siren / Behold… Beasts" and "Traces of Love".
