Madonna Earns Second Dance Airplay No. 1 From ‘Confessions II’ With ‘Love Sensation’
Madonna has earned her ninth No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Airplay chart as “Love Sensation”, from her new album Confessions II, rose to the top. The achievement gives her a second Dance Airplay leader from the album and reinforces the commercial radio success of her latest release.
The song climbed from No. 2 after its plays rose 28% during 24–30 July, following May’s chart-topper “I Feel So Free”, her first radio No. 1 in 18 years. Madonna now ties Ellie Goulding for the fifth-most Dance Airplay No. 1s, while Confessions II recently became her 10th Billboard 200 No. 1 album after opening with 134,000 equivalent album units.
