Billboard ·

Madonna and Kylie Minogue have released their first collaborative recordings, two remixes of Madonna’s “Love Sensation” from her July album Confessions II. The release follows their joint performance at WorldPride Amsterdam 2026 and brings together two major pop artists whose collaboration had previously been highly anticipated.

Produced by Stuart Price, the 3-minute-35-second “Afterhours Radio Edit” retains much of the original track while adding Minogue’s second verse, whereas the 6-minute-14-second “Afterhours Mix” substantially reworks it with an extended dance-focused arrangement. “Love Sensation” recently reached No. 1 on Dance Airplay, while Confessions II debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100, making Madonna the first artist to have a No. 1 album in the 2020s and three earlier decades.

Madonna is an American singer and performer whose career has spanned more than four decades, with hits including “Like a Prayer”, “Vogue” and “Hung Up”. Kylie Minogue is an Australian singer known for dance-pop songs such as “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” and “Spinning Around”; both have long been major figures in pop and club music.

“Love Sensation” is a song from Madonna’s album Confessions II, and remixes are new versions of an existing track that may change its vocals, length or musical arrangement. A radio edit is usually shortened for broadcast, while a longer dance mix is designed more for clubs and continuous DJ sets.

The pair had performed together before releasing recordings as a duo, including at WorldPride Amsterdam, an event linked to LGBT+ Pride celebrations. Their first joint release is notable because fans and music industry observers had anticipated a formal collaboration between two artists with closely associated dance-pop careers.
