Wizards of the Coast has confirmed the full decklist for its upcoming Hatsune Miku Secret Lair Commander deck, marking the virtual singer's return to Magic: The Gathering as the first Universes Beyond Secret Lair Commander deck ever produced. Designed by Carmen Klomparens, the ready-to-play deck is built around a green-white (Selesnya) strategy focused on life gain and token generation, giving fans a fully playable product rather than just a set of collectible cards. It launches on 10 August.

Miku headlines the deck as the commander "Miku, Song of the People", a reimagining of Trostani, Selesnya's Voice illustrated by KEI, the original artist behind the Hatsune Miku character. The build leans on well-known Commander staples such as Archangel of Thune, Voice of the Blessed, Crested Sunmare, Mirari's Wake and Aetherflux Reservoir to turn accumulated life gain into a growing army and a decisive finishing move. Archangel of Thune is noted as a particular highlight, typically fetching around $60 on the resale market.
