A 25-year-old man has been charged after a firearm was discharged towards a property on Fieldhead Road in Sheffield on 21 September. Four further people have been arrested as the investigation continues; no injuries were reported, although police said the incident put residents at risk.

Rakab Mohammed, of Sharrow Lane, faces charges of possessing a firearm with intent and possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply, and has been remanded in custody. Three men, aged 26, 26 and 27, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, while a 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender; one man remains in custody and the others have been bailed or released on bail.
