New South Wales man charged over recordings of abuse involving three women
A 38-year-old man from New South Wales’ Central Coast has been charged with 210 offences after police allegedly found recordings documenting the sexual and physical abuse of three women. The case matters because investigators say the material relates to alleged abuse over seven years and was discovered during an investigation into a separate domestic violence incident.
Police say they seized 120 electronic storage devices from a home in Tumbi Umbi in December 2025 and found about 2.5 million files. The charges include 109 counts of recording intimate images without consent, 57 counts of being an accessory to sexual intercourse without consent and 12 counts of aggravated sexual assault involving deprivation of liberty. The man was arrested near Dubbo and was due to appear in court on Tuesday.
