A man was stabbed in Doncaster after a group of armed men attacked two men in what police described as a disturbance. The incident highlights ongoing concerns about street violence involving weapons in South Yorkshire, with officers now appealing for public help to identify those responsible.

South Yorkshire Police were called to Derwent Road in Mexborough at around 17:45 BST on Monday. A 22-year-old man was taken to hospital with stab wounds not thought to be life-threatening, while a second man was also attacked by the group. Police recovered several weapons from the scene and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
