Mariah Carey has released a 30th anniversary edition of her 1995 album 'Daydream', which includes previously unheard recordings from her private songwriting sessions. The digital release marks the first time Carey has agreed to share excerpts from her personal writing tapes, offering fans rare insight into how key tracks came together for the album that produced hits including 'Fantasy', 'Always Be My Baby' and 'One Sweet Day'.

The 33-track digital edition, released on 17 July, combines the original album with unreleased material, rare B-sides, remixes, acapellas and live performances, including private session recordings for 'I Am Free' and the Babyface collaboration 'Melt Away'. Physical formats including 3LP, two-CD and cassette editions follow on 16 October, with the vinyl set featuring Carey's full 1995 Madison Square Garden concert for the first time alongside a limited pink vinyl pressing; a "Making Of Fantasy" featurette is also due on her YouTube channel.
