Mark Ruffalo’s Apple TV Movie Scores a Rare 2026 Theatrical Release
Apple TV will give Being Heumann, a drama starring Mark Ruffalo and Ruth Madeley, a limited seven-day cinema release from 6 November 2026 before it arrives on streaming on 13 November. The release is significant because a theatrical qualifying run could make the film eligible for Academy Awards consideration, an uncommon approach for an Apple TV title.
Directed by Siân Heder, whose Apple-backed film CODA won Best Picture in 2022, the film is based on the real-life story of disability-rights activist Judy Heumann.
