Marmozets have announced that bassist Sam McIntyre has left the band, ending his tenure as an original member who played on every song and album the group has released. The split follows a busy touring period in 2026, during which the band played major festivals including 2000trees and Download in support of their latest record, 'CO.WAR.DICE.'.

In a statement posted to their social media, remaining members Becca, Jack and Josh said they had "parted ways" with McIntyre because the working relationship had become "unworkable despite our best intentions and attempts," while stressing the decision was in everyone's best interests. No replacement bassist or details on future touring plans were announced, and the band said they would "see you soon" after taking a short break.
