Dutch DJ Martin Garrix debuted a new track titled "Fireflies" alongside U2 member The Edge at Belgium's Tomorrowland festival in Antwerp. The song is scheduled for release on July 24 under U2's credits and represents a live premiere of the collaboration at the electronic music event.

The partnership marks a return engagement between Garrix and U2, who previously collaborated on "We Are The People" as the official theme for the 2021 UEFA European Football Championship. Garrix is currently developing a new studio album, suggesting the track may appear as part of that forthcoming project, whilst U2 have recently released their single "Street Of Dreams."
