Marvel Comics is relocating from New York City to Hollywood after nearly 90 years based in Manhattan, marking a significant shift for a publisher whose identity has long been intertwined with the city that inspired many of its characters. The move, first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, forms part of a wider restructuring to consolidate Marvel's operations, including its comics, television, animation and franchise divisions, into a single location.

The relocation was announced at a company town hall led by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige alongside senior executives Brad Winderbaum and David Abdo, with the transition expected to take place over the next 12 months. As part of the shake-up, editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski is being replaced by Steve Wacker, a returning editor known for acclaimed titles such as The Superior Spider-Man and Hawkeye, while Cebulski moves into a new role overseeing Marvel's expansion into the Asian manga market. The move echoes DC Comics' own relocation to California 13 years earlier.
