Marvel has confirmed that Parker Robbins, better known as The Hood, will join the roster of Marvel Rivals this weekend as part of the game's Season 9.5 update. The character, introduced to a wide audience in the Ironheart Disney Plus series, was played by Anthony Ramos and marks the first major crossover between the show and Marvel's ongoing multiplayer game. His inclusion signals Marvel's continued push to weave its streaming projects into other parts of its franchise, keeping lesser-known characters visible to fans beyond their original series.

Ironheart, produced by Ryan Coogler and starring Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, was released in full over a two-week window last year and spent close to a month atop Disney Plus's streaming charts. The Hood's arrival follows other recent Marvel Rivals additions such as Cyclops, and comes during a busy year for Marvel that has also included Spider-Man: Brand New Day's record-breaking box office opening, plus new seasons of Daredevil: Born Again and X-Men '97, while Wonder Man has been cancelled despite an earlier Season 2 renewal.
