Marvel Studios held its annual Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con, unveiling a string of updates on its upcoming film and television slate. Avengers: Doomsday inevitably dominated proceedings, but the studio also confirmed new casting, a re-release strategy for Avengers: Endgame, and the start of production on Black Panther 3, giving fans a clearer picture of the next several years of Marvel Cinematic Universe output.

Among the key reveals: Avengers: Endgame returns to cinemas on 25 September with bonus footage and an exclusive early look at Doomsday, while new Doomsday footage and a poster teased a strong Fantastic Four/Doctor Doom connection. Ryan Gosling was confirmed as Ghost Rider for a solo film directed by Shawn Levy, due in 2028, and Hayley Atwell will return as Peggy Carter in Doomsday.
