Arc System Works, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Marvel Games have revealed Phoenix Cyclops as the first downloadable fighter for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, due in autumn 2026. Announced at San Diego Comic-Con, the character brings a Phoenix Force-powered version of Cyclops to the forthcoming four-versus-four tag fighting game, expanding its roster after launch.
The developers also unveiled an anime-style opening film by Sanzigen Studio and confirmed that the Champion of the Universe will be the main antagonist in the single-player story. Marvel Tokon launches for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC on 6 August, while an open beta this weekend will include 16 of the game’s 20 characters, plus online modes, training, local versus and early story chapters.
