Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, a new four-versus-four tag-team fighting game, launches on Thursday 6 August for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. The title lets players build custom squads from a roster of Marvel heroes and villains, including Iron Man, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom and Carnage, and its release has generated interest largely due to its ensemble format and character variety.

The game goes live at 11am EDT, which translates to 4pm BST for UK players and 5pm CEST for western Europe, with players in Japan and Australia seeing it arrive early on Friday 7 August local time. At launch, 20 characters will be playable, spanning figures such as Black Panther, Wolverine, Ghost Rider, Magneto and Storm, with additional characters promised in future updates.
