‘Marvel Tokon’ Has Allegedly Been Cracked And Runs Better Than Official Release
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, a fighting game published by Sony, has been struggling on PC due to performance problems widely blamed on its digital rights management (DRM) software. This matters because a cracked, DRM-free version has reportedly been circulating and running far more smoothly than the official release, embarrassing the publisher and highlighting how anti-piracy tools can end up punishing paying customers more than pirates.
The PC version currently holds a "Mixed" Steam rating, with only 47% positive reviews, as players report crashes, inconsistent frame rates and online issues even on high-spec machines, problems largely absent from the PS5 version. According to CrackWatch, the game's DRM was bypassed within just 11 days, and users on Reddit and ResetEra say the cracked build runs at a smooth 60fps on top settings without needing to preload shaders, though some stutters remain. Other software, including Sony's PlayStation Network SDK and Easy Anti-Cheat, may also be contributing to performance issues, and despite the DRM, leaked character files have already surfaced online, undermining its stated purpose.
