Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls has launched on Steam with ‘Mixed’ user reviews, mainly because of reported PC performance problems rather than complaints about its fighting mechanics. The issues may also affect cross-platform online matches, leading some PS5 players to disable crossplay to avoid inconsistent rollback netcode when opponents’ frame rates drop.

Players have blamed factors including the mandatory PSN overlay and poor optimisation, noting that some systems run other major fighting games smoothly at 60fps. The game is reported to run well on PS5, while Linux incompatibility prevents play on Steam Deck and Steam Machine hardware; Arc System Works says it is investigating, and PSN availability also restricts PC sales in more than 100 countries.
