Insomniac Games has rejected claims that an unusual bathroom sign in *Marvel’s Wolverine* was created using generative AI. The studio says the distorted figures are the result of a UV map bug, a technical error affecting how textures are applied to 3D models, and that a fix is being prepared.

The accusation spread after a TikTok received more than 700,000 views and an X post gained over 452,000 views. Insomniac’s James Stevenson said there are no AI-generated assets anywhere in the reported $300 million game, which launched exclusively on PlayStation 5 on 15 September 2026 amid wider debate about its design and storytelling.
