Marvel Studios has cast Asa Germann as Warren Worthington III, the winged mutant Angel, in its upcoming X-Men reboot film. The announcement adds to a rapidly growing cast list for the project, which is part of a broader resurgence of X-Men content across Marvel's film, television and gaming output.

The untitled X-Men reboot is set for release on 5 May 2028, arriving six months after "Avengers: Secret Wars", which is expected to reshape the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe. Previously confirmed cast members include Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Adam Driver as Mister Sinister, Kit Connor as Cyclops and Maya Boyd as Storm. Germann is best known for playing Sam Riordan in Prime Video's "Gen V" and Lucas Bowden in the box-office hit "Scream 7".
