Mary Beth Barone has written and will star opposite Joe Alwyn in *Still We Met*, an original romantic comedy loosely inspired by her own experiences. The film follows a young woman at a turning point who spends an unforgettable night exploring New York with a charming British stranger, and marks Zackary Drucker’s narrative feature directorial debut. Production is scheduled to begin this autumn in New York.

The film is being produced by Assemble Media and Irony Point, with Lena Dunham and Michael Cohen serving as executive producers through Good Thing Going. It will be Barone’s feature screenwriting and acting debut, following her work on *Overcompensating*, her Netflix comedy special *Galaxy Brain* and the Hulu series *Hard Feelings*. Alwyn’s recent credits include *Hamnet* and *The Brutalist*, while Drucker is known for acclaimed documentary projects including *The Stroll* and *The Lady and the Dale*.
