The Television Academy has announced early winners in the 2026 juried Emmy categories, recognising work from The Masked Singer, The Traitors and Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal. The awards highlight specialised achievements judged by industry panels ahead of the main Emmy ceremonies, where most trophies will be presented.

The Masked Singer and The Traitors shared the costume award for variety, nonfiction or reality programming, while two Primal episodes won for individual achievement in animation. Other animation winners included Eyes of Wakanda, Star Wars: Visions and The Mighty Nein; Meta Quest’s Crafting Crimes won for innovation in emerging media, while no award was given for motion design. The honours will be presented at the Creative Arts Emmys in Los Angeles on 5 and 6 September, before the main ceremony on 14 September.
