An 11-year-old ice hockey player from the Bay State Breakers in Massachusetts has been suspended indefinitely after a video showing him delivering a two-handed slash to the head of an opposing player went viral on social media. The incident occurred during a game against the South Shore Kings at a rink in Foxboro and prompted widespread calls for disciplinary action from the public. The case has raised questions about player conduct and safety standards in youth sports.

The suspended player's team confirmed the indefinite suspension from practices and games, with Massachusetts Hockey, the sport's governing body, currently investigating to determine the final length of punishment.
