Epic Games has launched a limited-time Fortnite tournament tied to Christopher Nolan’s forthcoming film The Odyssey, allowing players to unlock an Odysseus character outfit modelled on Matt Damon before its shop release. The crossover extends the film’s promotional campaign into gaming ahead of its cinema premiere and gives Fortnite players an early chance to obtain themed cosmetics.

The Odyssey Cup runs on 15 and 16 July, before the film opens on 17 July 2026. Top regional players can earn the outfit, Xiphos pickaxe and Bow of Iphytus back bling, while eight points unlock a loading screen and 40 points earn a spray; it is available in Battle Royale, Zero Build and a mobile Reload event. Players who do not qualify are expected to be able to buy the outfit later in the Fortnite Item Shop.
