Matt Reeves has confirmed that composer Michael Giacchino will return to score The Batman Part II. His involvement maintains creative continuity with the 2022 film, whose music became a prominent part of its darker interpretation of the character.

Reeves confirmed the news in a social-media post marking the first film’s anniversary, sharing an image of the sequel’s script alongside Giacchino’s name. The Batman Part II is currently scheduled for release on 1 October 2027, following delays from its originally planned 2025 date.
