Mattel Celebrates 25 Years of ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’ With New Collectible Dolls
Mattel has launched a new range of collectible fashion dolls to mark the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, the 2001 film that began the Harry Potter movie franchise. The collection recreates the film's original Golden Trio—Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger—in their Hogwarts uniforms, offering fans a nostalgic tie-in to the milestone.
Each doll is dressed in Gryffindor robes with screen-inspired details and character accessories, including wands, and features a posable design; the Harry Potter doll stands 10.43 inches tall, while the Hermione doll has bendable joints allowing spell-casting poses. Prices range from $16.19 to $19.99. The anniversary celebrations also extend to other products, including a refreshed 25-Year Anniversary Edition paperback box set of all seven books (priced at $68, down 13% from $77.95) and DVD/Blu-ray reissues of the original film.
