Mayhem vocalist believes he has Joey Jordison’s final recording
Mayhem vocalist Attila Csihar believes he has the final recording featuring Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison, who died in 2021. The unreleased track is a cover of Kraftwerk’s 1975 song “Radio-Activity”, recorded for their industrial metal project Electhrone.
The musicians met in Athens more than 20 years ago and later worked together in Sinsaenum, which released two albums and three EPs. Electhrone also recorded a cover of Skinny Puppy’s “Assimilate”, released on Alien Vampires’ 2023 album; the Kraftwerk cover remains at demo stage.
