Maynard James Keenan, frontman of Tool and A Perfect Circle and a member of Puscifer, has opened a new sushi restaurant, Queen B Sushi, in Old Town Cottonwood, Arizona, on 4th September 2026. The venture, run with his wife Jennifer, expands their existing Verde Valley hospitality portfolio, which already includes the Queen B Vinyl Café and the Merkin Vineyards and Caduceus Cellars wine businesses. Like the vinyl café, the restaurant's name is drawn from a 2007 Puscifer song, underlining how closely Keenan's musical and business identities are intertwined.
The restaurant is led by culinary director Chef Brett Vibber, formerly of Roka Akor's London, Hong Kong and US branches, alongside Chef Chuhiro "Thomas" Kato, who trained under Nobu Matsuhisa, and Arizona native Chef Sheridan "Sher" Chase. Keenan has spoken of a decades-long passion for sushi dating back to 1987 in Boston, deepened by touring Japan from 2000 onwards, and the menu will be served alongside a selection of his own wines. Alongside the restaurant's launch, Keenan continues his music career, with Puscifer set for a UK/European headline tour in October and November, followed by joint dates with A Perfect Circle across South America, Australia, Japan and Hawaii.
