Explained simply
The Ruthless Podcast is a US political discussion show hosted by four men: Republican strategist Josh Holmes, social media personality Comfortably Smug, and political consultants John Ashbrook and Michael Duncan. It began in 2020, when the hosts recorded conversations over Zoom during the Covid pandemic.
The show focuses on conservative politics and elections, drawing on the hosts’ experience in Republican campaigns. Its audience has mainly followed it as a podcast, and a licensing deal with Fox News Media has also connected it with the wider Fox News operation.
