Megadeth have confirmed dates for the UK and European portion of their farewell circuit, with 24 arena shows scheduled to run from March through mid-April 2027. The tour, titled 'Breakout: Hibernation Of The Nations,' will see the thrash metal veterans joined by fellow heavy music acts Black Label Society and Testament, creating a multi-act bill spanning decades of genre influence.

Frontman Dave Mustaine characterised the tour as a retrospective celebration of the band's four-decade presence rather than a simple goodbye, emphasising the connection built with audiences across different cities and regions. He described the inclusion of the supporting acts as essential to honouring the metal community's broader heritage, positioning these shows as one segment of an extended, worldwide farewell series intended to reach international fan bases.
