Megadeth Announce Spring 2027 UK/European Leg of Farewell Tour
Megadeth have announced "Breakout: Hibernation of the Nations," a UK and European leg of their ongoing farewell tour set for spring 2027, with support from Black Label Society and Testament. The announcement extends a farewell run that frontman Dave Mustaine has said is deliberately being spread over three to five years so fans worldwide get the chance to see the band before it retires.
The European leg kicks off on 9 March in Belfast and takes in cities including London, Nottingham, Manchester, Cardiff, Paris, Oslo, Berlin and Milan, before closing in Lisbon on 13 April. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster in stages: a Cyber Army fan club pre-sale on 4 August, an artist presale on 5 August, and general sale from 7 August. The news follows Megadeth's recent self-titled album reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and comes as the band prepares to join Iron Maiden and Anthrax later this month on the North American "Run For Your Lives" tour.
