Megan Moroney Ends Denver Show Early Amid Illness: “I’m Truly So Sorry”

Deadline · 4 hours ago

Country singer Megan Moroney cut short her Denver concert after just three songs due to illness, forcing organisers to end the show early. The stop, part of her Cloud 9 Tour supporting her third studio album of the same name, has now been rescheduled, with Moroney taking to social media to apologise emotionally to fans for the disruption.

Ball Arena confirmed on social media that Moroney was "unable to continue her performance" due to illness. Moroney said the decision was the hardest she has ever had to make and revealed she was in tears backstage while writing her message. The postponed show will be made up on 17 August, with existing tickets honoured or refundable at the point of purchase. Her tour, which began on 29 May in Columbus, Ohio, continues on 1 August at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.
